Saskatoon Laestadian Lutheran Church (SLLC) in Saskatchewan, Canada is a member of the Laestadian Lutheran Church (LLC). The LLC works in conjunction with sister organizations in Finland (SRK), Sweden (SFC) and other congregations around the world. The member base is widely diversified in nationality, age, and race, and we welcome people from all walks of life.
Congregation members of SLLC gathered regularly for many years under the membership of sister congregations in Outlook, SK and Dunblane, SK prior to the year 2000. After several discussions, a board was selected, the SLLC was established, and the first annual meeting was held on January 21, 2001. The congregation has grown and has been blessed by God’s nurturing hand.
